SINGAPORE - Catch up on the hottest topics on The Straits Times' weekday talk show.

The Big Story, broadcast every weekday at 5.30pm on Facebook and YouTube, has reporters and senior editors discussing the top stories of the day.

The show is helmed by multimedia correspondent Hairianto Diman and assistant video editor Olivia Quay, and airs live from ST's digital studio.

On Thursday (Sept 10), the Singapore Airlines Group announced that it is cutting jobs amid the Covid-19 fallout, affecting some 2,400 staff.

We will speak to news editor Karamjit Kaur on the impact of this retrenchment exercise on the airline's brand and image, as well as on Singapore overall.

Food critic Wong Ah Yoke will then share more on the food places that Singaporeans can check out over the weekend.
