Who're you calling a fossil?

It was a close encounter of the prehistoric kind for this visitor as she came face to face with a velociraptor at Dinosaur Planet in Bangkok.

The life-sized model of the Cretaceous carnivore is one of more than 200 dinosaurs featured at the 12,000 sq m theme park, a one-year project which was opened officially last Friday.

Located at The EmSphere mall in the Em shopping district in Sukhumvit Road, the park comprises eight dinosaur-themed zones and includes attractions such as a light and sound show, thrill rides, a 50m-high ferris wheel and a 4D virtual-reality simulator.

Sounds like a Jurassic Park movie fan's dream come true.
