Armed with laptops, energy drinks, chips and know-how, these hackers, coders and developers from around the world got together over the weekend in London to come up - in 24 hours - with the next big idea and product in the tech world.

They were taking part in the highly popular TechCrunch Disrupt Hackathon, which preceded the annual TechCrunch Disrupt London conference that started yesterday and ends today.

The main highlight of the global technology conference is the battle of start-ups that compete to launch their products and services. The event brings together venture capitalists, entrepreneurs, innovators and influencers from around the world, and showcases the hottest trends and topics of the moment.
