Music fans pitch perfect tents

Tents swallow up almost every inch of land at a dairy farm in south-west England as revellers set up home at the 34th Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts in Somerset, the United Kingdom, on Thursday.

The premier music festival runs from June 22 to 26, and features Muse, Adele and Coldplay, among others.

For five days each year, the cattle on the farm are housed in sheds and the fields given over to around 135,000 music fans, plus a host of services required to keep the crowds fed and entertained.

Fans can pitch their tents anywhere from the fields right next to the stage to more tranquil areas on the outskirts of the festival.
