Models of inclusivity

Mention the word "catwalk" and glamorous fashion models will likely come to mind.

But not at this catwalk, which aims to make a strong statement for inclusivity.

Models of all sizes, races, sexuality and physical ability took to the runway on Thursday to show off the creations by Colombian designer Guio Di Colombia during the Walkway Inclusion fashion show in Cali city, Colombia.

They included Ms Zuly Rodriguez (left), who was born without her lower limbs, and Mr Daniel Barrios (right), who lost his leg in an accident.

The event aims to raise awareness and respect for marginalised people, including those in the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community; people with physical and cognitive disabilities; the African diaspora; indigenous people; albinos; and women deprived of liberty.
