In Pictures: St Patrick's Day

St Patrick's Day, also known as the Feast of St Patrick, is a festival celebrated every year on March 17. It is a day to celebrate Irish history and culture. Revellers often turn up at parades dressed in green, sporting shamrocks, or dressing up as leprechauns which in Irish folklore, are fairies portrayed as pint-sized bearded men.
