Russian Ambassador to Turkey Andrei Karlov was at an Ankara exhibition hall when he was shot in the back at 7.05pm on Monday (12.05am on Dec 20 Singapore time) by a man identified as Mevlut Mert Altintas, 22, who used to be part of the Ankara anti-riot police.
