In Pictures: Exit David Cameron, enter Theresa May
Mrs Theresa May replaced Mr David Cameron as Britain’s prime minister on July 13. The day began with Mr Cameron leaving No. 10 Downing Street with his wife and two children, then making his way to Buckingham Palace where he tendered his resignation to Queen Elizabeth II. Mrs May then followed suit, accepting her appointment as the new PM from the Queen, then left the Palace as Britain's and moved into No. 10 Downing Street with her husband Philip to take up her post.
