10,000 sky lanterns and lighted cubes lit up Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park on Sunday (Feb 21) night for this year's Chingay Night Fiesta. Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Mrs Lee, who were both present at the event, walked along a route through the park, dubbed the Lights of Legacy Path, that was decorated with lanterns bearing illustrations by Singaporeans reflecting values such as racial harmony and social cohesion. The event ended with a half-hour performance and a fireworks display.
