It is a joyful occasion for most children when the school term ends for the year, but not for three-year-old Mark Le Rolland Wong (second from left).

He had a moment of stage fright when dancing to the Christmas song, Jingle Bells, with his pre-nursery classmates at the year end performance at Saint Francis Xavier Kindergarten on the last day of school yesterday. They had been practising for about a month and it was their first time on stage performing for a live audience.

The school holidays start today. Students will be back in school on Jan 4.
