Art to crow about

Sometimes, nature can be experienced indoors too. These visitors at the ArtScience Museum were doing just that at a digital art installation set up in the refreshed Nature gallery, part of the museum's permanent exhibition Future World.

Titled Crows Are Chased And The Chasing Crows Are Destined To Be Chased As Well, Transcending Space, the audio-visual installation attempts to show the creation of life through "crows", rendered in light, that fly around and leave trails of light. They chase one another, collide and burst into colourful flowers.

The installation is one of three new ones aiming to get visitors to re-examine their relationship with nature, and was originally put up in Tokyo's Mori Art Museum last year as part of The Universe And Art exhibition, which will open at the ArtScience Museum on April 1.
