Ohio is among the battleground states which are a must-win for the White House aspirant as Americans go to the polls today.

Both Mr Trump and his Democrat rival, Mrs Hillary Clinton, have been clocking the miles on their campaign planes as they made last-minute appeals to voters.

Mr Trump 70, was in Sarasota, Florida, yesterday, and was then headed to rallies in North Carolina, Pennsylvania and New Hampshire, before ending with a late event in Michigan.

Mrs Clinton, 69, had stops planned in Pennsylvania, Michigan and North Carolina.
