A coin worth its weight in gold

A woman holding up a coin made of 99.99 per cent gold, dubbed "Big Phil", in Berlin yesterday. One of the world's largest coins, it was issued to mark the 10th anniversary of the pro aurum branch - a precious metals dealer - in Berlin. Big Phil weighs about 31kg and measures 37cm in diameter. Although it has a face value of €100,000 (S$155,200), the coin is currently worth almost €1 million.
