National Day charity project Building a LovingSG has raised $206,700 for The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund.

Mr Chan Lee Mun, principal of Nanyang Polytechnic, presented the cheque to the fund’s chairman Han Fook Kwang at the school on Wednesday.

The fund provides children from needy families with financial aid to pay for school-related expenses.

The highlight of the charity project, a large-scale Lego model of the NDP parade, will be displayed at the polytechnic in Ang Mo Kio Ave 8 until Thursday.
