Fans of Brand's Essence of Chicken flocked to China Square Central yesterday for a two-day event to raise funds for charity.

Aided by staff of Cerebos Pacific (in green), which manufactures the health supplement, customers took home products discounted by up to 30 per cent.

In its 11th year, the sale has raised more than $176,000 over the past 10 years.

All proceeds will go to The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund, which provides children from low-income families with pocket money. The event continues today from 11am to 7pm.
