A PAP Community Foundation (PCF) kindergarten in Teck Ghee will be among 19 pre-schools here that will receive the Ministry of Education's (MOE) innovation award next week.

The kidergarten at Blk 466 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 10 was lauded for its creative use of stop motion movies to help fuel the children's interest in storytelling.

The Education Ministry wants all kindergartens to create innovative learning methods and tap on its innovation grant.

This year, a total of 145 kindergartens did so and 19 will be receiving the Outstanding Kindergarten Innovation Award next week at the Kindergarten Learning Forum 2012.
