The countless photographs he took on the trips have been distilled into a show comprising 245 black-and-white images, including North Of Ob River. Inside The Arctic Circle. Yamal Peninsula, Siberia (2011), by his wife and curator, Lelia Deluiz Wanick. The travelling exhibition makes its Asian premiere at the National Museum of Singapore.

NOT AGAINST INTERPRETATION: UNTITLED

The significance of the name of a work of art is up for scrutiny in this showcase which highlights 18 nameless works by home-grown artists, such as an undated oil on canvas by Chua Ek Kay. The exhibition, which ends its run this weekend, invites viewers to suggest suitable titles for the collection of drawings, paintings, prints and sculptures on display. Suggestions of titles by previous viewers to the show are also on display. The unconventional theme of the exhibition aims to stimulate dialogue on contemporary art appreciation.
