MSIG SINGAPORE ACTION ASIA 50

What: After successful runs in Hong Kong and Taiwan, Action Asia is taking this race to Singapore for the first time, with 10, 21 and 50km distances.

Where: The 10 and 21km courses will take runners through the Green Corridor, while the 50km route takes them through MacRitchie Reservoir Park.

When: Next Saturday

Admission: $40, $65 and $79. Registration closes on Monday.

FROST THE TRAIL 2015

What: The corporate run, organised by consulting firm Frost & Sullivan, is in its 10th year. All race fees go to nursing home Bright Hill Evergreen Home and senior activity centre Peace Connect.

There are two distances - 5km for a team of four and 10km for individuals.

Where: MacRitchie Reservoir Park

When: Aug 22

Admission: $500 for the team of four category and $125 for the individual category. Registration is open till July 31

THE NORTH FACE 100

What: This is the eighth edition of one of the most established and challenging trail runs in Singapore. Participants can choose from distances of 13, 25, 50 or 100km .

Where: The route, which starts at MacRitchie Reservoir, is not out yet.

When: Oct 10

SINGAPORE CITY RACE

What: The free-form foot race does not technically have a route as participants have to plan their own routes to find checkpoints. Past races have seen some choosing to run on existing trails, such as the Green Corridor. There are four distances - 8, 15, 25 and 40km.

When: Dec 27

Info: Race fees are not out yet, but individuals can pre-register now to enjoy a 10 per cent discount.
