NATAS TRAVEL FAIR

Today is the last day to catch the biannual Natas Travel Fair.

Featuring activities, talks and performances, the fair will be open from 10am to 9.30pm at Singapore Expo Halls 7 & 8. Admission is free.

To mark its 50th anniversary, 50 goodie bags will be given to the first 50 customers.

For every $500 spent, visitors will have the chance to take part in a lucky draw. The top prize is a pair of Singapore Airlines business class tickets to Stockholm. Other prizes include cruise packages, as well as land tour packages and luggage bags.

MasterCard cardholders will enjoy additional deals. For every $2,500 charged to their cards, visitors can redeem a gift, which ranges from travel accessories to shopping vouchers.


MANILA HOTEL'S ACCOMMODATION PACKAGES

February is a good month to visit the Philippines as the weather is cool and dry.

For accommodation options in the capital city, consider Manila Hotel, the city's historic five-star luxury hotel located along Manila Bay. It is offering various romance- themed room packages till the end of the month.

The package with an entertainment option is The Grand Dame's Heart, which includes an overnight stay in the hotel's superior deluxe room, a pair of concert tickets for American singer David Pomeranz's performance at the Tent City, a buffet breakfast and a one-hour signature massage for one at the hotel's spa. Prices start at 20,000 pesos (S$568).

If you are not interested in live music and want a better room, opt for the Nostalgia With Love package, which includes an overnight stay in a suite and is priced from 14,500 pesos. The package includes a buffet breakfast for two and a one-hour massage for one at the hotel's spa, and complimentary chocolate.

History buffs can check out the Say I Do package, which includes an overnight stay at the hotel's MacArthur Suite, once home to legendary United States five-star General Douglas MacArthur. The package includes a three-course private dinner accompanied with a flute or violin performance, and a one-hour couple's massage at the hotel's spa. Prices start from 500,000 pesos for the package.

BANYAN TREE'S SPECIAL OFFER

From now till Dec 31, all SilkAir passengers can enjoy special discounts at Banyan Tree's resorts in China, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Indonesia and the Maldives.

SilkAir passengers who produce their boarding passes at the participating resorts can enjoy 10 per cent off the best available room rates or room packages. Passengers can also enjoy 20 per cent off spa treatments and Banyan Tree's gallery products.

Participating resorts include Banyan Tree Jiuzhaigou (from $227.45 a night) and Banyan Tree Phuket (from $761.57 a night).

BRITISH AIRWAYS PROMOTIONAL FARES

In conjunction with the Natas Travel Fair, British Airways is offering all travellers discounted rates on its economy fares for return flights from Singapore.

All-inclusive economy fares start from $648 to Sydney, from $1,188 to London, from $1,004 to Dublin, from $1,016 to Amsterdam and from $1,009 to Barcelona.

The sale ends on March 2 and is subject to availability. The promotion is valid for travel till Dec 31.
