New York pastry chef Amber Spiegel has won the Internet - with cookies.

The talented baker decorates her confections with elaborate designs that can range from lovey-dovey hearts, to a pregnant Beyonce.

On her Instagram account "sweetambs", she posts videos of turning her cookies into bite-sized works of art.

She has created cookies with intricate designs, ones that look like Faberge eggs and also cookies for every occasion from Christmas to Valentine's Day.

A video she posted on Facebook last February showing people how to decorate cookies with royal icing for Valentine's Day has chalked up more than 80 million views.

She also replicates everyday objects like cosmetics and crayons.

In June last year, she began turning the news and memes into cookies. They include Beyonce when she announced her pregnancy earlier this month; Saltbae, the sexy chef who went viral and Star Wars star Carrie Fisher, who died in December last year.

Her instagram post featuring Beyonce has garnered 1.8million views as of Wednesday.

Her meme and news cookies, created for food site Tastemade, went viral in turn.

Spiegel started out as a cake decorator but spent her free time honing her skills at cookie decoration, according to her website.

She also creates cookie-decorating online tutorials, and conducts cookie decorating classes.
