DIE FLEDERMAUS

The famous 18th-century operetta Die Fledermaus by Johann Strauss is given a Korean drama twist in this contemporary adaptation by home-grown troupe New Opera Singapore, while still keeping true to the original's comedic nature.

In this production, Rosalinde, wife of the protagonist Eisenstein, is a Korean drama fan with dreams about becoming like the stars she fawns over at home.

This is a light-hearted show filled with jokes that Singaporeans will understand and appreciate, delivered in familiar Singlish, Korean and Filipino accents.
