DOTTY THE DRAGON BY BLUNDERBUS THEATRE COMPANY (UK)

Dotty the little fire dragon lives atop a mountain with her grumpy father, Mr Dragon.

She longs to play with the children in the village below, but they are afraid of dragons. What happens when she decides to pay them a surprise visit? With live music, colourful puppets and engaging storytelling, this production by Britain's Blunderbus Theatre Company is recommended for children aged three to seven and their families. It is part of I Theatre's ACE Festival.

SRT PRESENTS CHARLIE & LOLA'S EXTREMELY NEW PLAY

Irrepressible duo Charlie & Lola are coming back this June holidays. The sibling stars of the hit BBC television series and books by Lauren Child will come to life in a blend of colourful puppetry, live action and catchy music. This is the sequel to Charlie & Lola's Best Bestest Play, which had a sell-out run at the DBS Arts Centre in June 2012. In this new adventure, Charlie & Lola go on a magical journey through the four seasons.

METROPOLITAN FESTIVAL ORCHESTRA PERFORMS THE SCORE FROM THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE TWO TOWERS

The second instalment of the blockbuster movie trilogy The Lord Of The Rings will get the live performance treatment by the Metropolitan Festival Orchestra, which will play the lush, evocative score to The Two Towers as the movie is screened simultaneously on stage. Audience members can immerse themselves in Howard Shore's heady soundtrack while following the original dialogue and sound effects of the film.

This performance, under the baton of Justin Freer, also features soloists Rosalind Waters and Samuel Yuen, as well as the Vocal Associates Festival Chorus and Children's Choir.

PETER & BLUE'S FOREST ADVENTURE

The Singapore Dance Theatre presents a one-hour ballet specially for children, featuring charming fairy tale elements and lessons on love and sharing. Peter, his dog, Blue, and his cat, Calico, go on an adventure into the enchanted forest to gather treats for his mother's birthday. They meet plenty of new friends along the way. There will also be a meet-the character session and a photo-taking session.

Recommended for children aged three and up.
