'Grasshopper' still unable to meet Singapore fans of Running Man

Fans will be disappointed if they are hoping for the full-line up at the second Singapore fan meet of popular Korean game show Running Man. Only five out of seven Running Man hosts will be present for the Nov 29 meet - muscleman Kim Jong Kook, funny guy HaHa (Ha Dong Hoon), female ace Song Ji Hyo, bumbling uncle Ji Suk Jin and the show's resident gangly loser Lee Kwang Soo.
The game show's resident motormouth Yoo Jae Suk, aka Grasshopper, will be missing out on this year's Running Man fan meet again. The unassuming Yoo's absence is likely due to his packed schedule. Called "the nation's MC", Yoo has climbed his way up to be one of South Korea's top emcee, a far cry from the time he earned his nickname when he debuted on a variety show dressed as a grasshopper in 1991. Yoo can be seen hosting variety programmes in his country's coveted weekend belt - Infinity Challenge on Saturdays and Running Man on Sundays.
Running Man fans here can still look forward to a fun-filled two-hour show featuring a "riveting mix of comedy and song performances" at the The Star Performing Arts Centre, said the fan meet's organiser, Korean entertainment channel One. Some lucky fans will get picked to play games with the stars on stage.
Tickets will be priced at $348 (VIP), $258 (CAT 1), $228 (CAT 2), $198 (CAT 3), $168 (CAT 4), and $148 (CAT 5). VIP ($348) ticket holders will receive an exclusive autograph pass, which allows them to meet the stars and get an autograph from one randomly picked Running Man cast member.
