Billed as the fight of the century, the Welterweight Championship of the World boxing match between American champion Floyd Mayweather, 38, and Filipino Manny Pacquiao, 36, is finally upon us.

Taking place in the United States on Saturday, it will be televised live in Singapore on Sunday, May 3, at 9am.

The favourite to win is Mayweather, undefeated in 47 matches. If anyone has a chance at all of breaking his streak, it would be Pacquiao, the first eight-division world champion in the world and perhaps the best pound-for-pound boxer in history.

The fight is estimated to earn the fighters $300 million, with Mayweather claiming $180 million of the purse and Pacquiao the remainder.
