Sword-swallowing, "rubber man" contortion acts, and strongman feats - expect to see these performances and more by The League Of Sideshow Superstars.

The Australian troupe will be performing next Saturday and Sunday at 3.10pm in Club Minky, an eclectic programme of cabaret, comedy and sideshow acts.

In the sideshow department, besides The League of Sideshow Superstars, there will also be a group called Lords Of Strut from Ireland. Its act, running at 2pm on both days, blends acrobatics with dance and slapstick humour.

Comedy Masala, one of Singapore's longest running stand-up comedy open mic nights, will take over the stage in the late afternoons and early evenings with jokes, impersonations and stand- up routines.

Its founder and comedian Umar Rana has gathered seven local and regional comedians, including Filipino funnyman GB Labrador and Hong Kong-bred bilingual stand-up comic Vivek Mahbubani.

At night, flamboyant drag queens from cult drag show Riot! will come out to play. From 7.15pm on Saturday and 8.30pm on Sunday, larger- than-life drag queen Becca D'Bus and her crew will perform songs, dances and jokes galore.
