SINGAPORE - The men came topless, while some women turned up in bikinis - to shop in Orchard Road.

They were among some 100 people who took part in Spanish high-street fashion label Desigual's seminaked campaign on Thursday morning.

The first 100 "semi-naked" customers who showed up at Orchard Central shopping mall each got a complimentary outfit of their choice. They were given an hour to grab their free outfits before the store opened to the public for its year-end sale at 10am.

It was the first time that Desigual, which launched the campaign in 2005, decided to hold it in Singapore.
