Radio DJ Jamie Yeo to join MediaCorp's Gold90.5FM

SINGAPORE - After bidding farewell to some big names on its radio line-up recently, MediaCorp will welcome back its former personality Jamie Yeo.

In a statement released on Tuesday, it said the 37-year-old, who left MediaCorp in 2006 after a five-year stint with 987FM (formerly known as Perfect 10), will join radio station Gold90.5FM from March 2 and host the 2-5pm segment.

"This is a homecoming for me. I started my career here and MediaCorp still holds lots of dear memories for me. I'm definitely looking forward to connecting with a wider audience through MediaCorp's many platforms," Yeo said in the statement.

The former Growing Up actress and mother of one recently co-founded a local shopping website - mums.sg - and is a football presenter on Singtel's MioTV.

Yeo, who married Briton Thorsten Nolte in 2010, had previously returned to radio with SAFRA Radio's Power98FM in 2012. She is also a host on local lifestyle guide Insider TV.
