Temperature taker for a day

For a few hours last weekend, Straits Times senior correspondent John Lui wiped toilet handles, swept floors, disinfected lobbies at GV Vivocity and took the temperature of patrons.

Taking temperatures at the cinema, I do not catch anyone with a fever, but I feel I have saved lives anyway

I know you're tempted, but please do not call me a hero. I insist.

So I was at the front line of the global fight against coronavirus last weekend. So what if I put myself out there in the service of Singapore? People are saying I saved lives, so many lives, and that I did a tremendous job. Tremendous.
