SINGAPORE - Universal Studios Singapore launched a new ride, themed after the Puss In Boots franchise, on Wednesday.

Touted as the world's first suspended roller coaster, the ride took two years to engineer, design and produce.

Each ride lasts approximately two minutes with a maximum speed of 36kmh.

There are four zones where guests can experience anti-gravity sensations.

"The greatest thing about Puss In Boots is that it appeals to the entire family. There are parts of the ride which are quick and fun so the thrill seekers will enjoy it and also children will enjoy it," said John Hallenbeck, senior vice-president of attractions at Resorts World Sentosa.
