SINGAPORE - American pop star Taylor Swift will now play two nights when she comes here as part of her sold-out Asian tour. She has added another show at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on June 9. More tickets will also be released for the original date on June 12, which were initially sold out.

June 9 was originally the date of her sold-out gig in Bangkok, but Swift cancelled it after the Thai army took control of the country and imposed a curfew and martial law. The gig was cut "due to recent events in Thailand", says a post on the Thai Ticket Major website.

The 24-year-old, who last played in Singapore at the Indoor Stadium in 2011, has sold more than 26 million albums and 75 million digital downloads, and is known for hits like We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together and I Knew You Were Trouble. She has also won multiple music awards, including seven Grammys and 15 American Music Awards.

The Singapore tickets, on sale from Saturday, are available at sportshubtix.sg or by calling 6333-5000.
