Survivor frontman and singer of Baywatch theme Jimi Jamison dead at 63

Jimi Jamison, the lead singer of the rock band Survivor, died of a heart attack on Aug 31, 2014. He was 63.
The band issued a statement on their official Facebook page saying: "The entire Survivor family is very shocked and saddened by the passing of our brother Jimi Jamison. Our thoughts, love and prayers go out to his family and friends."
Guitarist Frankie Sullivan also wrote on Facebook:
Born in Mississippi, Jamison first found fame in the early 1980s as the lead singer of the band Cobra.
