Sammi Cheng and Andy Hui "are married", secret revealed at his brother's funeral

Hong Kong - Cantopop couple Sammi Cheng and Andy Hui may really be married, said Ming Pao Weekly.

At Hui's older brother's funeral in Hong Kong last Friday, there was a wreath of flowers from the couple, whose names appeared as "younger brother Andy, younger sister-in-law Sammi". In contrast, a wreath from Hui's nephew's fiancee was indicated as an offering from a "future daughter-in-law".

Cheng, 41, and Hui, 46, were reported to have married last year, but they have said they are just engaged.

In Hong Kong showbusiness, celebrity marriages - or love children - sometimes come to light when there is a death in the family.

Jackie Chan's secret marriage to Lin Feng-jiao was revealed in the 1990s, when his godfather, producer Leonard Ho, died and she was listed as the actor's wife in an obituary.

After Alan Tam's father died in 2006, the married singer disclosed that he had a son with a girlfriend, before both their names were published in an obituary.

Andy Lau's secret marriage to Carol Choo became public knowledge in 2009, after he attended her father's funeral in Malaysia.
