Bootylicious singer Jennifer Lopez is coming to town. She will be lending her star power at the Padang Stage as the closing act of the Formula One Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix on Sept 21.

The newly single 44-year old has been kept busy since her split from dancer Casper Smart, 27, last month: She performed at the World Cup opening ceremony in Sao Paolo last month, singing the official song We Are One with rapper Pitbull and Brazilian singer Claudia Leitte, and also released her eighth album, A.K.A.

She was last here for a concert in 2012 at Gardens by the Bay.

Other acts previously announced for the F1 weekend this year include Taiwanese mega band Mayday, British singer Robbie Williams, electronic pop veterans Pet Shop Boys and soulster John Legend.
