THE KTV TAKEOVER SERIES 2
Here is an unusual venue for an indie and underground gig - a disused KTV lounge at the soon-to-be-demolished Eminent Plaza at the junction of Jalan Besar and Lavender Street.
The gig is part of a music and art project titled An Eminent Takeover that takes place in the two-storey mall. Tonight's show has sterling acts, including art-rock mainstays The Observatory, post-hardcore outfit Paris In The Making and post-metal quartet Radiant Archery. Also on the line-up are post-hardcore band Calvaire, indie-pop group Obedient Wives Club and hard-rockers The Ship Breakers.
