LATE NITE @ ESPLANADE: FULL MOON OVER MARINA BAY BY ART FAZIL

Singer-songwriter Art Fazil revisits the old classics from his eponymous debut English album, which was remastered and re-released last year to mark its 20th anniversary. Hear him relive songs such as Full Moon Over Marina Bay, Sometimes When I Feel Blue and Everybody Else as well as other tunes which carried his observations of local society in the 1990s.

EP!C PRESENTS FEDDE LE GRAND

Zouk celebrates its 23rd birthday by bringing back Dutch house DJ and producer Fedde Le Grand, best remembered for his infectious 2006 single Put Your Hands Up For Detroit.

His mix of mainstream and edgy underground sounds continues to stay relevant in the club scene, with the DJ placing at No. 29 in DJ Mag's annual poll of Top 100 DJs for last year.

BIG BAND MAGIC: 20 YEARS OF THE THOMSON JAZZ CLUB

What started out as a jazz music project by Thomson Community Club members became one of Singapore's longest lasting jazz institutions. To mark its 20th anniversary, the two groups which make up the jazz club, Thomson Big Band and the Thomson Swing Band, will perform at this Esplanade show. The guest performers are local jazz songbird Alemay Fernandez as well as some American jazz names - singer Greta Matassa, bassist Christy Smith and trumpeteer Greg Glassman.

The man with the distinctive, soulful voice, Charlie Lim, is back from a recent tour in Britain. He is the home-grown talent featured in this edition of the library@esplanade's series of shows which focus on Singapore music. The soul/electronic singer-songwriter will be preceded by opening sets from fellow local acts Samantha Rui and acoustic trio HubbaBubbas.

THE DIARISTS PRESENT THE PEDRA BRANCA EP LAUNCH

An islet claimed by both Singapore and Malaysia sometime back, Pedra Branca is also the name of a new collaborative EP by two artists from the two countries. The cross-straits folk music project features individual songs by local doom-folk acoustic singer Hell Low and Malaysian punk-folk troubadour Azmyl Yunor. Hear the pair play the songs, described as tunes about love, loss and living in Singapore and Malaysia. This concert launches the duo's cross-border tour to promote the release. Also performing are Malaysian indie-folk band The Cotton Field Scarecrowes and ambient-noise act Anise.
