British superstar DJs Paul Oakenfold and Pete Tong, as well as Australian electronic dance music duo Nervo will be performing here next week as part of the inaugural International Music Summit Asia-Pacific held at W Singapore, Sentosa Cove.

The one-day summit, held next Thursday, will be one of the biggest music industry gatherings in the region, where dance music bigwigs - DJs, producers, agents, label heads and club owners - discuss business, strike deals and introduce new music, technology and DJs.

British musical tastemaker Tong, who is also co-founder of the summit, will perform on Wednesday night at a launch party for the IMS summit at nightclub Attica in Clarke Quay.

Nervo, made up of Australian twins Miriam and Olivia Nervo, will perform at the Woobar in W Singapore on Thursday night for the IMS Asia-Pacific after-party.

The multi-talented duo are one of the highest-ranking female DJs in the world, sitting at No.21 on DJ Mag's 2014 Top 100 DJs poll and playing the main stages at festivals such as Ultra Miami and Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas.

They were also the songwriters behind the international chart-topper When Love Takes Takes Over, performed by French music producer David Guetta and American RnB singer Kelly Rowland.

DJ Paul Oakenfold, one of the international superstar DJs to have emerged in the 1990s, will headline IMS' official after-party at Attica on Thursday night.

The multiple Grammy-nominated artist and producer has released over 30 DJ mix compilations and recorded 36 Essential Mixes for BBC Radio 1, including the very first mix in the series in 1993.

Entry to Pete Tong's gig at Attica is $40 at the door; and $50 for Paul Oakenfold's gig. Advance tickets for Oakenfold are available at www.eventbrite.sg at $40 per ticket.

Entry to Nervo's gig at Woobar is free from 9pm.
