Pop singers Iggy Azalea and Britney Spears nearly shared a liplock on Thursday, reported TMZ.com .

Not that the two are dating - the pair have begun shooting a 1980s-style music video for their collaboration Pretty Girls, taking the audience back to a time when over the top leopard prints, crop tops and poofy hair was the 'in' thing.

EOnline.com reported that the duo were filming in Studio City, California, driving up and down the boulevard in a jeep.

They have been posting pictures from the shoot on Instagram, with Azalea posting a sideways selfie to show off her crimped hair and bright pink lipstick.

Spears posted a picture of herself clad in a leopard-print crop top and jeans, and sporting oversized earrings, with the caption: "Girls roll up, windows roll down, eyes on us, jaws on the ground".
