Beijing - Taiwanese actor Kai Ko was released from detention this morning, two weeks after his drug arrest, and said he would never smoke marijuana again.
Ko, 23, spoke to the television show Morning, Beijing at Regent hotel, said NetEase website.
He said he would stay away from all illegal things and he hoped the lesson he had learnt in the past two weeks would have a healthy effect on his life and those of others. "People who know me and like me, I hope they get better and better, together with me."
Reflecting on the episode, he spoke of his folly. "I did something wrong, and when I do something wrong, I have to face it, bear it, and put it right."
