Actress Eva Mendes is seven months pregnant and the father is heartthrob Ryan Gosling, entertainment magazine OK! reported on Wednesday.

The duo co-starred as parents in The Place Beyond The Pines (2013). The 40-year-old actress and the 33-year-old actor started dating in September 2011.

"She's been ready for motherhood for a while now, and to be sharing this experience with Ryan is a dream come true for her," OK! said in its report, quoting an insider.

According to an E! Online report, the famously-private duo have managed to successfully avoid being photographed together for more than a year, leading to gossip earlier this year that they had split.

Now that a baby is on the way, could Gosling finally be walking down the aisle?

According to an OK! source: "Ryan doesn't think they need to marry just because they are having a baby, but Eva believes it's important to have their lives fully intertwined."
