The upcoming Sony Pictures biopic on Apple co-founder Steve Jobs may see actor Seth Rogen star as the tech company's other co-founder, Steve Wozniak.

The actor is said to be in talks to play the role, says Bloomberg.

If Rogen, who is known for comedies such as Superbad and Knocked Up, takes on the part, he will star opposite Oscar-winner Christian Bale, who has been confirmed for the role of Jobs.

The film, based on the biography, Steve Jobs (2011), by Walter Isaacson, is co-written by Aaron Sorkin, who won an Oscar for the 2010 movie The Social Network.

Sorkin, who spoke to Bloomberg Television's Emily Chang for the Nov 6 edition of the show Studio 1.0, says there are plans to begin filming the movie in a few months.

The movie follows last year's biographical film, Jobs, starring starring Ashton Kutcher, which received lukewarm reviews.
