The orange Boxster may be the star car in next month's issue of Torque, but there are quite a few other cars to savour beyond the Porsche-graced cover.

These include the trio of funky hatches picked for the month's group test - the Honda Jazz, Hyundai Veloster and Nissan Juke.

Then there is the twin test between the Renault Kadjar and its half-brother, the Nissan Qashqai.

Two other twin tests await - the new Audi A4 versus the old; and the new Suzuki Vitara versus the old.

You cannot quite ignore the Boxster, of course. Given a dramatic facelift and fitted with a new engine, the sexy mid-engine roadster is still the top choice for those who enjoy driving al fresco.
