Wet N Wild Run

A game show-inspired obstacle run, it is the first of its kind in Asia. Brace yourself for 12 obstacles, including the world's largest inflatable slide, as well as foam showers. About 6,000 participants are expected a day.

Where: Siloso Beach, Sentosa

When: Sept 27 (sold out) and 28, 9am to 6pm

Route: 5km, along the beach

Admission: $78 (today), $88 (from tomorrow)

Goodie bag: Worth $55 - includes a T-shirt, sunscreen and discount vouchers to Sentosa attractions. Those who registered before July 16 will also get a Bondi Band headband.

Run For Your Lives

Participants in this zombie-themed obstacle course sign up either as survivors or zombies.

Survivors start off with three lives, denoted by flags strapped around their waist. Their goal is to get to the safe zone with a least one life remaining.

Zombies, on the other hand, will try to grab the survivors' flags. They go through an elaborate zombification process - complete with hair and make-up - which is part of the fun. About 4,000 of the 5,000 slots have been filled.

Where: West Coast Park, The Grand Lawn

When: Oct 25, noon to 8pm

Route: 5km, within the park

Admission: $89.90

Goodie bag: Worth $80 - includes event T-shirt, a limited-edition medal and food and beverage vouchers.

Survivors with at least one flag left will get a survivor medal. Those without "lives" get an "infected" medal. All zombies automatically get the "infected" medal.

Great Eastern Women's Run

Singapore's largest women-only race will feature fringe activities such as cooking demonstrations, circuit training, dance classes and fitness workshops for participants. The organisers hope to draw 17,000 participants.

Where: The Float@Marina Bay

When: Nov 9, 5.30 to 11am

Route: 5km, 10km or 21.1km. Landmarks on the routes include Gardens by the Bay, Marina Bay Sands, Merlion Park, the Esplanade, Singapore Flyer and F1 Pit Building.

Admission: $41 to $73

Goodie bag: Worth $200 - includes event running top, a finisher medal, finisher certificate, water bottle and discount vouchers. Those who finish the half- marathon will also be given a finisher T-shirt.

Illumi Run

This non-competitive fun run will see participants splashed with water-based, non-toxic neon paint as they make their way through themed music zones. It drew 10,000 participants last year and will cater for 18,000 people this year.

There will be dancers to complement the nightlife atmosphere and a post-race party for those who cannot get enough of the fun.

Where: F1 Village

When: Nov 28 and 29, 8 to 11.30pm

Route: 5km, runners start from the F1 Village and will run past the F1 Pit Building and Singapore Flyer.

Admission: $78 (till Sept 22), $88 (from Sept 23)
