British actor Orlando Bloom has reportedly tried to punch pop singer Justin Bieber. The two were dining at a restaurant in Ibiza on Tuesday when the scuffle occured, says celebrity news website TMZ.

A video of the incident, apparently taken by a bystander, shows the Pirates Of The Caribbean star throwing a punch in Bieber's direction.

Varying sources have given different statements on what occured at Cipriani restaurant. Some say that the 37-year-old actor was annoyed with Bieber and instigated the fight. Others state that the 20-year-old singer started things by saying that he had slept with Miranda Kerr, Bloom's ex-wife.

Witnesses at the scene report that the crowd clapped when Bieber eventually left the restaurant.

Bloom, famed for starring in The Lord Of The Rings, split up with Kerr late last year. The two were married for three years and have a son together.

A day after the incident, Bieber took things a step lower by posting a picture, of what looks like Bloom crying, on his Instagram account.
