SINGAPORE- Comedian Russell Peters is set to have his Singapore audiences roaring with laughter once more, as he returns in 2015 for the "Almost Famous World Tour".

According to ticketing service provider Sistic's website, his show will be held at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre on April 7 at 8pm.

Mr Peters' last show in Singapore was in 2013. Before that, in 2012, the Canada-born comedian set a new attendance record for the fastest selling and biggest comedy shows in Singapore's history over two nights at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. The show was attended by 18,000 people, according to the website.

The upcoming show, which is touted to have completely fresh material, will feature improvisation involving front row audiences. The age restriction for the show is 19 and above.

"I use the interaction to take me from bit to bit. Some guys go on stage with a script and don't deviate from it. That's not my style. I have my set and know what I want to cover; I just use the audience to move me in certain directions. It's very collaborative and each show is unique," Mr Peters is quoted as saying on the site.

The comedian, who performs internationally, has been listed on the Forbes List as one of the top ten Highest Earning Comics in the United States since 2009.
