Pizza Maru, which has 650 stores in South Korea, opened its first Singapore offshoot in Yishun. Highlights include its specialty pizza crusts and toppings like bulgogi, a Korean steak marinated in galbi sauce, and barbecued chicken.

Popular Korean pizza chain Pizza Maru has opened its first Singapore outlet at Northpoint City's newly opened South Wing.

The chain, which has 650 outlets in South Korea, also has outposts in New York and Hong Kong. This is its first foray into South-east Asia.

Watch a video about how its signature green tea and black rice pizza doughs are stuffed, cut and twisted into fancy crusts.
