Ion Orchard Culinary Creations

Six of the mall's eateries have each created a dish exclusively available at Ion Orchard. Visitors can have free samples of the dishes on successive weekends from now until Oct 25 at Ion Orchard Link, B2 level, and order the dishes at their respective restaurants from now till Feb 29. The items are: signature slow-cooked egg confit by Saveur Art ($10++); a Prestige Wagyu Assortment by Magosaburo ($328++, sampling on Sept 26 and 27), featuring three cuts of Kobe wagyu beef and Miyazaki Champion wagyu beef; Cha Ca La Vong by Wrap & Roll ($14.90++, sampling on Oct 3 and 4); classic Hanoi-style sizzling catfish with turmeric and fresh herbs on rice vermicelli; Fried Heng Hwa Bee Hoon with Soy Milk by Putien ($7.90++, sampling on Oct 10 and 11), with eggs, beansprouts, seaweed and peanuts; Hor Mok Talay by Nara Thai ($14.90++, sampling on Oct 17 and 18), handmade otah with fish, squid and Thai herbs, grilled in banana leaf; and Prosciutto Wrapped Atlantic Halibut by The Marmalade Pantry ($28++, sampling on Oct 24 and 25), served with a herb gremolata and saffron foam.

W Hotel's The Kitchen Table restaurant's Food From The Heart spread travels to Vietnam, with authentic dishes including beef and chicken pho noodles, fresh spring rolls with shrimp and steamed pork, galangal-braised fish with caramelised fish sauce and desserts such as traditional sweet soups and green bean cakes.

Seafood Night At Brizo Restaurant & Bar

The Ahoy! It's Seafood Night! buffet dinner features 20 seafood specialities and a new made-to-order dish, Lobster In A Pan. It is a whole Maine lobster cooked with tiger prawns, clams, black mussels, potatoes, corn and gourmet sausages, served with truffle steak fries and a choice of garlic cream or cioppino sauce. Other highlights include Australian slipper lobsters, freshly shucked French oysters and Brizo's Signature Singapore-style Chilli Crab. The Argentinian restaurant introduces new small plates showcasing Argentina's diverse produce, such as exclusively imported grass-fed beef.
