Tim Burton's 1990 film is a tale set in suburbia, about a man named Edward Scissorhands, who has scissor blades for hands. It stars Johnny Depp and Winona Ryder.

Spooktober Party

I Am A Hero (M18)

Manga adaptation veteran Shinsuke Sato shakes up zombie tropes in this 2015 screen treatment of Kengo Hanazawa's popular manga of the same name. In Japanese with English subtitles.

Blade Runner 2049 (NC16)

Director Denis Villeneuve's sequel to the classic 1982 science-fiction film is set 30 years after the events of the first movie. A new blade runner called K (Ryan Gosling) unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what is left of society into chaos.

21st German Film Festival

More than 30 films are in the 21st edition of this festival, which aims to provide a unique insight into contemporary life in Germany and Europe through a wide range of genres, from art-house, comedy and historical drama to documentaries and music films. The festival runs from Thu to Nov 21.

Grand Prix: The Early Years

This exhibition explores three decades of race-car evolution in the 1930s, 1950s and 1960s. It features pieces such as the Indianapolis 500 Racer, recalling the race car driven by American Troy Ruttman in his victorious 1952 Indianapolis race, as well as a Bluebird, based on 1920s British legend Malcolm Campbell's Campbell-Napier-Railton Blue Bird.
