Fade In Fade Out: Chuchu Datok Merah (Grandson Of Lord Merah)

A 1963 classic, the film is about Awang Janggut, a grandchild of Datok Merah who refuses to take on a job on the premise of being proud of his ancestral roots. Instead, he relies on betting on cockfights for a living. His life soon spirals downwards. The film stars Nordin Ahmad, Rose Yatimah and Latifah Omar, with music composed by Zubir Said. In Malay.
