Ballet Under The Stars

The Great Wall: One Woman's Journey

This musical adaptation of one of the most enduring legends in Chinese folklore, the story of Meng Jiang Nu, whose tears brought down the Great Wall, is based on a new script by Singaporean playwright Jean Tay.

SCO Composer Workshop

Under the guidance of music director Yeh Tsung and composer-in- residence Eric Watson, the Singapore Chinese Orchestra Composer Workshop exposes young composers to a range of compositional approaches to Chinese instruments and provides an intensive practicum with the orchestra. Participants must be aged 25 and below. Registration closes on Aug 11 and applicants are required to submit a composition by Oct 15. Shortlisted applicants will be notified by Nov 30.
