CONTINUUM ALBUM LAUNCH & CONCERT

Local band The Observatory (above from left, Leslie Low, Yuen Chee Wai, Vivian Wang and Cheryl Ong) will perform their new album Continuum in its entirety at a live show not to be missed. They describe their new work as a "stew of interlocking Balinese-African rhythms, progressive rock, early electronic music and trance".

BIGBANG 2015 WORLD TOUR [MADE]IN SINGAPORE

South Korean pop royalty BigBang are back with, well, a bang. The five lads have sold out both nights of their concert here this weekend, but don't fret, the organisers have released extra seats for sale. These seats are called "audio seats", which means fans will not be able to see much of the live action. Still, it is better than just buying a CD because fans would be breathing the same air as their idols.

MOONBEATS ASIA PRESENTS BRAIDS LIVE IN SINGAPORE

Canadian indie act Braids are a band whose music is very much rooted in 1990s noise-pop and shoegaze. The trio's recently released third album, Deep In The Iris, is drenched in ambient soundscapes and textured beats. If dreamy pop melodies with an electronic slant is your thing, go to their show here.

ZOUK SOUND-SYSTEM PRESENTS JOHN DAHLBACK

Swedish house music producer, DJ and label owner John Dahlback (left), one of the leading men in the global dance music scene, is known for his melodic progressive house anthems and has worked with some of the best producers, including American music producer Kaskade and Dutch producer Dash Berlin.
